Koufuko International Limited (KIL) based at Chenari, Trashigang expanded their milk collection from Ngatshang Dairy Group under Mongar Dzongkhag with effect from 5 June 2020. The KIL collects 350 liters of fresh milk daily on average from the new collection point with milk price agreed at Nu. 32 per liter. With this, Ngatshang Dairy group joins 9 dairy groups of Trashigang dzongkhag who market fresh milk to KIL, Chenari. At present, KIL collects 1550 liters of milk daily on average from 10 dairy farmer groups altogether.

The KIL has a plan to further increase their collection point to Mongar and Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag to economize the scale of product processing and marketing.
