Lhuentse Dzongkhag Agriculture Sector is conducting training on vegetable Group up-gradation and strengthening in commercial and value chain Gewogs. The training is focused to those groups that remained inactive for some time due to lack of capacity building program since its initial establishment. To this, Dzongkhag Agriculture Sector in collaboration with Gewog administration organized two days intensive training from 1^st to 2^nd January 2018 to upgrade and strengthening the capacity of the group members- through group organization and management, leadership, record keeping, conflict management and revising the by-laws. This is done mainly to have better coordination among members for effective vegetable program implementation to move into CARLEP value chain program. The training is facilitated by ADAO, Extension Officers of the Dzongkhag and Agriculture Component Manager of the OPM with total participants of 13 Member (M-3 F-10) from Kamdar vegetable and mushroom group under Membi Gewog. Similar training will be conducted in the following days under Medtsho Gewog. The training is supported from CARLEP/IFAD to Dzongkhag program for financial year 2017-2018.
