Office of the Programme Management (OPM), CARLEP conducted a video conference for
procurement meeting today, 14th July 2020 involving the Dzongkhag procurement officers,
sector heads of six eastern Dzongkhags, regional agency head from ARDC Wengkhar,
representatives from RLDC Kanglung and RAMCO Mongar.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss and decide on the proper procedures for the
procurement of items among the implementing agencies and also update on the issues regarding
the centralized system in the e-GP system.

With the fruitful discussion and agreement, it is expected that the engagement of  the Dzongkhag Procurement Officers to any procurement related activities of CARLEP (from procurement planning to
actual procurement) will not only ensure the leveraging of procurement experts but also improve service delivery hereafter.
