MSP and B2B conducted to Build Cooperations and Strengthen Farmers-Traders Relationships

With the objectives to facilitate wide-range and collaborative strategic planning between farmers (Producers), traders and other relevant stakeholders for efficient value chain, a five days meeting was organized by RAMCO from 3rd May to 7th May, 2019 in Mongar with fund support from CARLEP/IFAD. Mr Sanjeev Kumar Shrestha, IFAD consultant facilitated the meeting to 65 participants from RAMCO, OPM, ARDC, ADAOs, EAs, NPHC, BAFRA, BDBL, School Mess in-charge, traders, and Farmers’ groups on MSP and B2B plan. Further, participants were trained on drafting matching grant facility guideline and business plan templates for sustainable value chain development.

The meeting provided multi stakeholders and other value chain actors a platform to share their  knowledge, skills, and resources to develop innovative solutions that are more transformational, sustainable and effective means for market-led productions.

With the successful meeting, all the stakeholders involving in value chain agreed on improving market access for farmers, adding value to their produces, investing in new businesses, improving the incomes and livelihood, and strengthening relations between the farmers, traders, and other stakeholders in the value chain.
