CARLEP’s website officially launched
The Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture & Forests (MoAF), Lyonpo Yeshey Dorji officially launched the website of Commercial Agriculture & Resilient Livelihoods Enhancement Programme (CARLEP) on 16th February, 2017.
The website has been developed recognizing the growing emphasis on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the delivery of information in a transparent and cost-effective manner. It is also aimed at establishing a robust Information Management System as a part of Knowledge Management(KM).
The website will serve as a repository of knowledge and information related to agriculture and rural development in the east. The website will publish a wide range of communications and programme materials (such as event coverage, press releases, annual reports, brochures, stories of change, galleries, etc.), facilitate its work, promote its activities and share information with the programme implementers, donor and other projects both within and outside the country.
All the programme implementing agencies will have user rights to contribute news and field stories related to CARLEP.
