The five-day Annual Work Plan and Budgeting (AWPB) for the fiscal year 2018-19 and the Regional Programme Implementation Committee (RPIC) meeting for CARLEP started on 28^th January, 2018 and ended on 2^nd February, 2018.

The AWPB meeting was participated by the sector heads of livestock and agriculture sector of six Programme Dzongkhags (Lhuentse, Mongar, Pemagatshel, Samdrup Jongkhar, Trashigang and Trashiyangtse), heads and representatives of the regional central agencies (ARDC, RLDC, RAMCO and FCBL) and CARLEP accountants. The team from IFAD including the Country Programme Manager also attended the meeting.

The AWPB meeting was followed by the RPIC where-in the Dasho Dzongda (s) of Lhuentse, Pemagatshel, Trashigang and Trashiyangtse cordially endorsed the proposed AWPB. (The deliberations and the resolutions of the meeting is detailed in MoM of AWPB and RPIC 2018-19.)

Further, to comply the work plan with the procurement plan, the resource person from IFAD trained the Procurement officers of the programme Dzongkhags and the implementing agencies on the procurement rules and other mandates.
