A Successful Training on the Use of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Methods and Tools

A three days training on the use of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) methods and tools organised by OPM, as part of IFAD Implementation Support Mission (ISM) ended on 24th March, 2019 at Thimphu. The objectives of the training was to learn and know about Monitoring & Evaluation principles, tools & processes. It also focused on enhancing knowledge and skills on quantitative and qualitative surveys for Non-M&E staffs.
The training was facilitated by Mrs. Mehri Ismaili, Programme Liaison Associate, Mrs. Maria Donnet, IFAD Consultant, and Mr. Mikael Kauttu, Country Programme Manager for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan (developer of the MIS system).
It was attended by Assistant Dzongkhag Agriculture Officer (ADLO), Assistant Dzongkhag Livestock Officer (ADLO), representatives of ARDC Wengkhar, RLDC Kanglung, RAMCO Mongar and Policy and Planning Division (PPD under MoAF).
It is expected that the knowledge and skills gained from the training would be useful in acquiring accurate information with correct data for effective project implementation.
